Looking Back on 2024

As we turn the page on another chapter of our journey, it’s essential to pause and reflect on the incredible experiences and partnerships that have brought us to this point. While there are countless individuals and organizations who have contributed to our story, and each one holds a special place in our journey, we want to take a moment to highlight a few whose impact has been particularly profound.

We owe a deep debt of gratitude to Mark Cernosia and the whole Camp Mograph crew who opened their arms to us and ushered us into their vibrant community. From tableside talks in the dining hall, to fireside chats under the stars, Camp Mograph this year was more than an event; it was a reawakening of spirit that fed new ideas, friendships and partnerships equally. Thank you, for fostering an environment that nurtures creativity and for always reminding us of the joy in the journey. May everyone’s Camp Mograph mugs be filled with equal parts inspiration and coffee throughout all of 2025!

A heartfelt thank you also goes out to Stephanie Pennington from the Vanity, for welcoming us to their Toronto-based producer meet up where the conversation was as enticing as the delectable spread of wines, cheeses, meats, vegetables, and other goodies (edamame dip!) that the production team put together for the event. We’ve always known producers have superpowers, your warmth and culinary acumen are simply more examples.

A heartfelt thank you also goes out to the Tomo crew. Luis Mejia and Julieta Tobon, it was an honor to speak at the Tomo talk in October and we hope to visit again. The creative crew at the event were so engaged, and it was inspirational to speak with so many talented people. Jennie Davis, thank you again for moderating the event, and also for taking us to Pai for the most scrumptious Thai food ever. Please come to Denver, and while you’re at it, bring Erin Kuttner with you. :-)

Speaking of Erin Kuttner, none of this would have been possible without the help of this most kind and generous person, who also happens to be a phenomenal EP and our Subject Matter Expert. Erin, we cannot thank you enough for introducing us to both Stephanie and Luis and helping coordinate our time in the beautiful city of Toronto. Your generosity is unparalleled. Please visit us in Denver!

LA-based producers, we have not forgotten you. We are thinking of you as we watch from afar at the horror that is inflicting your city. We held our very first producer meet-up outside of Denver this August, and we are grateful to each of you who came to join us for an evening at the Auld Fella. Darren Jaffe, Kacey was elated to finally meet such an esteemed colleague of her business partner.  We are looking forward to seeing you all again this year. In the meantime, we hope that each of your friends and family are safe. You are all in our thoughts.

Last but certainly not least, we’d like to extend an enormous thank you to the students and studios whom we’ve had the pleasure of working with this past year. There is an incredible fulfillment that comes from delivering training to individuals and teams and we are honored to be a part of your journey toward success. We’d also like to thank our regular Deducers Community loungers for the incredible comraderie and the proliferation of ideas that have grown from each of our bi-weekly conversations. We appreciate each of you and look forward to many more conversations and Anna-dotes (@ Anna Junger)  in the upcoming year. Finally, we are extremely grateful for the Denver-based crew of producers and creatives who we’ve had a chance to happy hour with on several occasions this year. Cheers to more rooftop hang outs and classy conversations with a phenomenal view!
